Academic Cluster Lead of the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism (IoHT) at the University of East London
Henrik is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE (SFHEA) and has over 15 years of experience from the field of Higher Education in the UK – and prior to that he held various roles in the cultural industries sector in Stockholm, Sweden. Henrik’s research interests and projects include: fans and fan cultures; consumer culture; arts and event management; wellbeing and sport; destination marketing and place branding; the politics of tourism and hospitality; creativity in experience management; and tourist narratives. He is the co-author of Fans and Fan Cultures: Tourism, Consumerism and social media (Palgrave) and is currently co-authoring a book about Contemporary Issues in Tourism and Hospitality (Kogan Page) and another one about Visual Culture (Polity Press). His most recent book chapter appeared in Tourism, Events and Leisure Perspectives on the Eurovision Song Contest (Channel View, 2026).







All accepted and registered abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstract Book with ISBN Number. Full papers will have publication opportunities in various Indexed International Journals, including SCOPUS, Web of Science, DOAJ, and many more, or as a Book Chapter.
